Dollie Chase, 72, of South Dayton passed away Friday September 11,2020 at Roswell Park Cancer Center.
She was born October 18, 1947 to the late Glenn and Mildred (Hall) Phillips.
In addition to her parents, Dollie was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Butcher.
Dollie was an avid reader, a hobby she loved almost as much as she enjoyed baking treats for family and friends.
She delighted in exploring the Adirondacks and Maine with Don and loved sharing stories about the wildlife she saw there as well as the animals in her own backyard (have you heard about the bear that knocked down her birdfeeder?) Her playful, silly sense of humor will be especially missed.
Dollie is survived by her husband of 51 years, Don, her daughters Shana and Michelle, her grandsons Andrew and Gunner also many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may visit DiStasio Funeral Home 478 Route 83 at Balcom Corners South Dayton Thursday September 17, 2020 from 4PM to 7PM where a funeral service will be held Friday at 11AM.
Pursuant to the COVID 19 New York State guidelines, occupancy limitations will be observed. Face masks are required.
Interment will be in Villenova Cemetery
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Pine Valley Central School Library.
