Thank you Jonathan for such a lovely message. I'm so glad you were able to spend time with both of my parents in January. He was very fond of you and your sisters and spoke of your children as if they were his own grandchildren! And you are so right He had his wit til his last day! He was a great man and I don't just say that because he was my father!

This was one my favorite uncles and as a descendent from a big Eastside German family we had plenty of them. I feel blessed to have spent more than a few breakfasts at the Family Tree with Uncle Tom and Aunt Delores when back in Buffalo - as recently a January '17. Sharp as a tack up to the end, it was always pleasure to be around his rapier wit and lust for life. I feel blessed for all the moments we had together. He will be sorely missed. Loved you Uncle Tom!
