Alice, Jane, Wendy and Joan, We are saddened to hear of Roy's passing. I had the best intentions of surprising you, Alice, and Roy on my way in to Buffalo this past summer. As usual, I had myself overextended and almost late to pick up my friend in Buffalo! I am sure Roy would have called me Karen Balltine if I had fit in a visit! Yes....for some reason he made me cry every time I saw him when I was a babe. He used to say he was going to take me home with him and I guess I was sure he would!! I have many memories with your family. I am comforted to know he is probably playing cards with my Mom & Dad right now. They had so many good times! I think I have some photos, too, so I will try to find them for you. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this sad time. Smooches to you, Alice! Love, Karen

We were saddened to hear of Roy's passing. You are all in our prayers. Talk of him often and keep his memory alive in your hearts. Share the good times and laugh. I believe it is through laughter that we begin to heal.
