Richard R Blackmar
Richard Blackmar, 84, of Cattaraugus, NY entered into rest March 2, 2016
He served in the United States Army in Korea and Japan during the Korean War.
Richard was a member of the American Legion in Little Valley, Post 531 and the Cattaraugus Fire Department. He was the owner of The Frog Farm and was an avid hunter.
Loving husband of Linda; cherished father of Joseph (Debbie) Kaye, Eileen (Scott) Williams, Kristin (Patrick) Stevens; grandfather of Jennifer (Joseph), Erin, Lindsey, Collin, Hannah, Haley, Morgan and Austin; great- grandfather of Brilee and Collin Jr. also survived by extended family in Jamestown and his faithful companion Rainbow.
Richard was pre deceased by his parents Ross and Alice Blackmar, children John Jay, Timothy, Robert Blackmar and Buddy Kaye and a sister Lora.
Relatives and friends may visit DiStasio-Hills Funeral Chapel 55 S. Main St. Cattaraugus on Friday from 4PM to 8PM with a service to be held Saturday at 10am.
Donations may be made to Hospice of Buffalo and East Leon Wesleyan Church.
Interment in Liberty Park Cemetery
