Jeffrey K Beightol

Jeffrey K. Beightol, 79 of South Dayton, NY entered into rest January 17, 2022.
He was born July 12, 1942 in Jamestown, NY to the late Harry and Mary (Brown) Beightol.
Jeff served in Thailand for the United States Army during the Vietnam war. After the military he worked for Cummins, Cherry Creek Woodcraft and for the Jamestown Resource Center until his retirement. Jeff also served as the Judge for the Town of Dayton and the Village of South Dayton.
He married his wife Josephine Dawley on February 14,1987 and were married until her passing on October 2, 2021.
He was a member of the South Dayton United Methodist Church and the South Dayton American Legion.
Jeff spent his free time restoring his 69 Baracuda, riding his Harley, attending vintage car shows, drawing, painting pictures in his younger years and spending six months out of the year with his wife at their second home in Avon, FL.
He is survived by his step-children David Dawley, Pamela Lynden and Brian Dawley; two grandchildren, one great great grandchild and a sister Paulette Brown Bajdo. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents Jeff was predeceased by his step father Arden Brown and brother-in-law Clair Bajdo.
Private services will be held by the family.

In deepest Sympathy to the family of Jeff Beightol, I worked across the bull pen where he was in Purchasing, and I was in Financial Analysis, he would turn in his areas financial forecasts to me. He was a great friend through the years,his Mom lived. Around the corner from my grandmother at Point Chautauqua and she was very kind to her. So sorry for your loss of Jeff and his wife not long ago.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I worked at TRC & had an office next to him for several years. I enjoyed lots of stories and shared some good laughs.
