Helen G Heide
Helen G. Heide, 85,of Cattaraugus entered into rest June 29, 2018.
She was born December 08, 1932 in Cattaraugus, New York the daughter of the late Fred and Genevieve (Bottom) Wells.
Helen graduated from Cattaraugus Central School - Class of 1950, and Our Lady of
Victory Nursing School 1953. She worked as a registered nurse retiring from Hialeah hospital, where she worked for years.
Helen was a member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Lets Travel Club and the Historical Society all located in Cattaruagus, NY, Chautauqua County Historical Society
Chautauqua County Historical Encharted, and the Mountain Historical Society.
She is survived by her husband George, her daughters Karen Milby of Belleville, Il, Linda Kollar of Cattaraugus, Barbara (Michael) Campbell of Singa Island, Fl and Susan Wolfson of Cattaraugus; a sister Mary Matthews of Kennedy, NY; seven grandchildren, two great- grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
Helen was preceded in death by her siblings Charles Wells, Paul Wells, Laura Pritchard and Margaret Pritchard.
Relatives and friends may visit DiStasio Funeral Home 55 S. Main Street Cattaraugus Monday from 4 PM to 7PM. A Mass of Christian burial will held Tuesday 11AM at St Mary Church 36 Washington St, Cattaraugus with Father Joseph Porpiglia officiating.
In lieu of flowers donation may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association of WNY
