George Oliver Maynard
George Oliver Maynard, 80, formally of Randolph, New York entered into rest November 4, 2020 after a lengthy illness.
He was born August 3, 1940 in Randolph New York to the late Ernest and Edna (Keyes) Maynard.
George worked for various restaurants and owned Fourwinds restaurant in Jamestown. He also worked as a cook for North Warren Psychiatric Hospital and later as a home health care aid.
George was a member of the Grace Episcopal Church in Randolph New York and was instrumental in establishing Cattaraugus County Community Action; where he helped improve the lives of people in need.
George loved to dance and celebrate life. He enjoyed the Waltons and Bonanza on TV. Most of all he loved spending time with his family especially his nieces and nephews. George loved people!
He is survived by his siblings Edwin (Charlotte) Maynard, Darlene Stockton and Thomas (Julie) Maynard. George is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his siblings Geraldine, Earnestine, Wanda, Martha, Howard and Ione.
A memorial service will be scheduled sometime in the future.

I am so sorry to the family of George. I helped take care of him for 3 years at heritage. He was a very kind soul. Not a mean bone in his body. I cherished the time I got to know him. May he Rest In Peace.
