The sweetest soul I ever had the privilege of caring for. He and his family definitely made an impression on my heart in such a short time. I may have been a stranger, but the warmth of this family will forever be with me. My prayers and blessings are with them all.

So sorry for your loss. I have photos of my granddaughter visiting your farm in Coldenham ... she was 7 (she will be 26 in a few days). She still remembers you and feeding to baby cows.

Fred was an amazing friend to everyone who he encountered. I was privileged to have known the man, and to share the time we did. He taught me many things, but they were only a fraction of the knowledge he had stored away. He showed me there were ways to fix nearly anything, and ways to achieve things others would regard as impossible. Some of my favorite memories of him revolved around helping or watching him solve the unsolvable every day around the farm. By far the hardest-working man I have ever met, his work ethic was only surpassed by the love he felt for and showed his family every day.
I will miss you, Fred, but I will never forget the lessons learned at your side. Rest now, sir...it is certainly well-earned.
