Charles E. Fancher

 

Charles (Chuck) Eugene Fancher passed peacefully at home March 17, 2021.

He was born July 29, 1940 to parents, Adra and Daphne (Waterman) Fancher both deceased.

He was married to the love of his life, Orianne Merrill, July 30, 1960. Survived by his wife, Orianne, daughter, Anita (Mo) Valladares, Grandchildren, Zack (Sierra)Fancher Lainey (Luke) Kelly and Aleah (John) Schimek and Great Grandchild Carter Kelly, Siblings Doug (Karen) Fancher, Don (Sharon) Fancher, Judy (Jack) Weaver, Butch (Vickie, deceased) Fancher, Pat (Ned Colvin, deceased) Fancher, John Fancher and Bill Fancher.

Besides his parents, Chuck was preceded in death by his son Mark.

Chuck worked at Readmere Farms where he showed blue ribbon and grand champion cattle at the Cattaraugus County Fair. Also, he worked for Austin Milling, Carrier Coach and retired from the TLC Hospital Maintenance Department. Even after retirement, he continued working, cutting wood, and taking pride in maintaining a beautiful home. Chuck was a hard-working, honest, and reliable family man who enjoyed the great outdoors. He loved spending time in the woods, hunting, fishing, and eating a delicious home cooked meal. Chuck never ran out of good hunting stories to tell or funny, witty sayings. He had a kind heart and always knew how to make people laugh. 

The family will have a private memorial.
