My condolences to the Butcher family. It was honor to have cared for Ms. Barb at Charis Senior Home. It was always fun to talk with her about the instruments she played and her love for horses and animals. She will be missed.

Dennis and family- it has been a privilege and honor to get to know Barb over the past few years. I loved her laugh and her dry humor. She was a very special lady who took a piece of my heart with her. I am so blessed to have met her, to have called her my friend, and to have loved her. May God comfort you all.

Barb was a very special person who made many friends through her many different jobs and enjoyed being around people. When she and Denzil were racing horses, they became friends with many new people. When I first joined the family she was one of the first to welcome me and treat me like family. I missed our discussions about anything and everything when it was necessary for her to leave South Dayton and take up residence in Ohio. Rest in peace, Barb and enjoy being with Denzil and other family and friends who have passed. I'll try to look you up when my time has come. LOVE you. Marily

It has been such fun getting to know Barb over the past 4 years. Her humor and sarcasm kept us all laughing. Barb spoke often of her job, her horses and of course her husband , her son Dennis, Marti and the kids. Often she would say,Do you need any help? She had such a loving heart. My life is richer having known her. Love you dear friend.
