Milton "Joe" Lamey, 86, of Spring Hill, FL and formerly from Cattaraugus, NY entered into rest October 10, 2018.
He was born May 9, 1932 in Buffalo, NY to the late John and Margaret Lamey.
Joe was a Veteran of the United States Army, he was employed at the Bank of Cattaraugus for over 50 years, he was also employed at Setter Sticks, Peter Cooper Glue Factory, Moench Tannery, and retired from Gowanda Psychiatric Center. He had a great interest in watching westerns, guns, and loved spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife Golda; children, Susan (John) Snyder, Craig Lamey and Nancy Lamey; grandchildren, Nathan Snyder and Michael (Christina) Raecher; step-children, Robert (Pat) Singleton, Michael Todd (Lori) Singleton, Chris (Debbie) Singleton, Jeff (Dorothy) Singleton; step grandchildren and step great grandchildren. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Joe was predeceased by his first wife, Joy Wilcox Lamey; brother, Richard Lamey and sister, Carol Grimsey.
Relatives and friends may visit DiStasio Funeral Home, 55 S. Main Street, Cattaraugus Thursday, October 18, 2018 from 11am to 12pm with a funeral service to immediately follow.
Interment will be in Liberty Park Cemetery
